Jumping in when things go sideways.
A friendly ear, calming voice, and advocate over time.
The “Senior” Life Stage
The Senior Life Stage is a gradual process marked by increasing physical, cognitive, and social changes and a greater need for support, often requiring adjustments to living situations and embracing a new way of life. This can be achieved through thoughtful planning, open communication, and proactive management of health, housing, legal and financial needs.
While there isn't a distinct line, the shift involves accepting increased dependence, preparing for potential losses in faculties, and creating a supportive environment that prioritizes autonomy, comfort and well-being.
